Frank can climb up both the slides in our playground now and counts up to and down from eleven in the elevator every day. Maggie says that he can recognize the words for one and two as well. The old ladies in the neighborhood are all guessing that he's about 2.5-3 years old. They're impressed that Franklin helps us carry things in from the car, and how much he likes to run around. Apparently, some of the other children in the neighborhood won't carry their own things, and only like to sit in their rooms and play with models or watch TV. Franklin gets about half an hour of TV time a week, usually in the form of a Foghorn Leghorn or Beatles DVD. It's all culture.

Franklin in the Morning
